Colin and Steve arrived in Whitehorse yesterday and are prepping for their row to Dawson City. They launched the boat on the Yukon River for a trial row and it handled beautifully.  It was Steve’s first time in the Oxford Wherry and only the third time the boat’s been in the water.

They spent the night in a decadent yurt in Boreale’s yurtville and went mountain biking in the amazing forests and mountains surrounding them.  In the morning Steve made smoothies in their bicycle-powered blender.  How great is that! A big thanks to Boreale mountain biking for such a fabulous night.

Today they’re finishing the finally prep for the boat and getting ready for Wednesday’s early morning launch on the Yukon River.  Stay tuned.
