Grin Technologies

Grin Technologies Ltd. is a Canadian engineering company based in Vancouver that is dedicated to advancing the state of after-market electric bicycle conversion kits. www.ebikes.ca

AML Oceanographic

Established in 1974, AML Oceanographic designs and manufactures instrumentation and deployment systems for hydrographic surveying, environmental monitoring, and other subsea applications. AML supplies customers around the world and is recognized for their innovation, including pioneering time-of-flight sound velocity.  Their sensors will be used on our autonomous boat as it traverses the Atlantic Ocean collecting temperature and conductivity data on the surrounding waters. www.amloceanographic.com

UK Flowtechnik

UK Flowtechnik is a UK based company that manufactures and supplies flow meters, instrumentation, process sensors, specialist pumps, magnetic couplings and high quality hydraulic components. They are providing a magnetic coupling system, which is an innovative system to transfer torque from the motor through the boat hull to the propeller with no leaking. Traditional seals and stuffing boxes are prone to leaking, wear, friction, and require periodic maintenance. A magnetic coupling, on the other hand, uses magnetic fields to covey torque through a sealed barrier with almost no friction, and unlimited longevity.  www.ukflowtechnik.com

Go Power!

Go Power! – a wholly-owned subsidiary of Valterra Products, LLC. – has been a trusted, recognized leader in the business of solar technology for over 20 years. Their high-quality solar chargers, inverters, controllers, and power accessories offer a durable, dependable, and cost-effective solution for mobile power needs where grid power is inaccessible, unavailable, or unsustainable.  Their solar panel and charge controller will be powering our autonomous boat across the ocean. www.gpelectric.com

Spoondrift

Spoondrift is passionate about exploring new ways of doing things, and changing the way we look at ocean observations. Their Spotter Device is a compact, solar-powered, satellite connected device which measures surface waves and currents. It will be mounted on our boat so we can measure and understand the ocean conditions our boat is travelling through.  https://spoondrift.co

Duckworks

Duckworks is the premier online boat chandler providing almost everything small boat builders require at unbeatable prices. https://www.duckworksbbs.com

Speedpro Signs

Speedpro Signs is your one stop source for signs, decals, banners, vehicle wraps, business stationery and more.  Thanks to Speedpro Signs Victoria for producing the beautiful decals on our boats. http://www.speedprovictoria.com

The Weather Network

The Weather Network is Canada’s #1 source for weather information and is popular in the US and abroad.  It reaches millions of people through its TV channel, website platform, mobile apps and tv apps. As our media partner, they are sharing this initiative with their viewers throughout the prototype development, final testing, and as the boat crosses the Atlantic Ocean.

Helly Hansen

Helly Hansen is a long-standing partner on our expeditions. They have been making high performance outdoor clothing and gear since 1877 and their clothes can handle whatever extreme conditions we’ll encounter.

We’re currently putting together our sponsorship team. If you are interested in getting involved please contact us.
