Just a quick note to update you on Colin’s progress yesterday.  He left from Sombrio Beach at 1 pm and made it to Williams Head, on the outskirts of Victoria by nightfall.  The winds were gale force yesterday, as well as today, and his progress was not as speedy as he hoped.

Leif and I camped with Colin last night, and waved him off this morning at just before 10 am.  Although his tendonitis isn’t better, he’s still rowing and is hoping he’ll be able to stick with that to the end.  I’ll write more when Leif goes to bed tonight.  In the meantime, you can keep track of his progress on the tracker here.
