In March 2006 Julie Angus became the first woman to row across the Atlantic Ocean from mainland to mainland. Two months later, her husband, Colin Angus, completed the first human-powered journey around the world – a 720 day odyssey rowing across two oceans and cycling, walking, and skiing over three continents.

Julie and Colin have descended some of the world’s wildest whitewater rivers, rowed across Europe via inland waterways, and travelled over 100,000 km by human power. They are best-selling authors of five books and producers of award-winning documentary films that have been aired around the world. They are regularly featured on television programs including Canada AM, The Hour, Daily Planet and CBC Sunday, and are recipients of numerous awards including National Geographic's Adventurer of the Year Award.
